European Data Journalism Network (EDJNet)
The European Data Journalism Network (EDJNet) is a network of media organisations from all across Europe, producing and promoting data-driven coverage of European issues in several languages. The network brings together dozens of journalists, data analysts, developers, and designers. The network was set up in 2017 and it is coordinated by OBC Transeuropa.
EDJNet works as a collaborative community, news aggregator, and learning hub.
Attending the Media Village will be:

Chiara Cont got her Degree in Modern Literature from the University of Ferrara.
She has been working at OBCT (Osservatorio Balcani Caucaso Transeuropa) since 2008. As Project Officer and Financial Manager, she oversees several projects, including initiatives related to media freedom and data journalism.

Federico Caruso, with a background in communications and journalism, joined OBC Transeuropa in 2019. Since then, he has been in charge of promoting syndication and media uptake within the European Data Journalism Network. Since 2024, he has been in charge of coordinating the network on the editorial and project management side.
He is also project officer for the Collaborative and Investigative Journalism Initiative, where OBC Transeuropa was recently involved as regional hub for South and Southeast Europe.
