Doctors Without Borders (MSF Greece)
MSF is an international, independent, humanitarian organisation providing medical care in more than 70 countries. Since 1971, it has been treating people caught in complex crises and chronic healthcare emergencies around the world.
The Greek Section of Doctors Without Borders was founded in 1990 and is one of the oldest in the movement. Since its foundation, hundreds of its members have participated in missions around the world and in Greece with the aim of providing medical care to the most vulnerable populations. The Greek Section supports the operations and humanitarian action of Doctors Without Borders internationally by attracting human resources, raising financial resources, informing and raising awareness of Greek society about their actions, developing patient protection and advocacy actions, and managing the resources they raise based on the principles of accountability and transparency.
