Thanasis Koukakis is a journalist and columnist with over 22 years of experience in economic, banking, and financial reporting. He has worked for Greek newspapers such as "ESTIA," "TA NEA," and "TO VIMA," as well as news outlets like in.gr and CNN Greece. He has also collaborated with international media such as CNBC, the Financial Times, Haaretz, and Al Jazeera International.

He holds a degree in Political Science from the Law School of the University of Athens and a master's degree in Energy Economics from the University of Piraeus. He specializes in macroeconomics, international finance, taxation, and banking issues. Additionally, he has worked with investigative journalism teams in Greece and abroad on international investigations.
