Suzanne Clarke

Suzanne Clarke is a design researcher working for BBC Research & Development. She will be presenting findings from a project called 'News for All' which looks at impact of journalism on marginalised communities. Throughout her career she has been passionate about including real people, with real problems, in the design process. That means not just asking for validation at the end of the process, or leaving decision making to a room full of people who all think, act, and look the same way. It's about investigating and faithfully reporting on how people feel and are impacted by design and technology.
