Sophia Smith Galer is a multi-award-winning reporter, author and content creator with more than 135 million views on TikTok. She has pioneered how journalists can use the power of vertical video to build community around their investigations, and between her work at the BBC and VICE News she has exposed the misuse of political ads on TikTok, the UK government withdrawing half of its funding for sex education and anti-abortion funding routes. Her first book Losing It debunks sex misinformation and was published last year to critical acclaim.
