As an Investigative Journalist at Project Multatuli, Ronna Nirmala is dedicated to amplifying underreported stories on social justice, human rights, and democracy. With years of experience in journalism, she also leads editorial efforts focused on rigorous investigation and ethical storytelling, often partnering with grassroots communities and advocacy groups across Indonesia and the Asia-Pacific. Her passion lies in uncovering systemic inequalities through compelling, datadriven narratives. Committed to independent media, she strives to promote transparency and accountability.

In June 2025, her collaborative project received an Honorable Mention in the 2025 SOPA Excellence in Reporting on the Environment (Regional/Local) category for a special report. The Society of Publishers in Asia (SOPA) is a prestigious organization recognizing journalistic excellence across the Asia-Pacific region. Ronna is proud to work with dedicated partners to produce impactful journalism that informs and inspires positive social change.
