Niovi Anazikou is a distinguished journalist, documentary filmmaker dedicated to illuminating underrepresented social narratives and advocating for children's rights. With degrees in Accounting and Journalism, and a Master's in Culture and Documentary Production, she brings a multifaceted perspective to her work. Anazikou applies a filming approach that safeguards subjects from re-traumatization.

Her career spans nine years as a senior producer-journalist at VICE Greece, and she now contributes to ERTNews while freelancing and teaching documentary production in Greece. Anazikou's works, including the award-winning "Violence in Relationships" and "Human Trafficking," as well as "Foster Care: From Institution to Family," showcase her ability to use cinematography as a narrative tool, sensitively capturing experiences of vulnerable individuals. Through her documentaries, Anazikou fosters dialogue on critical social issues, reflecting her commitment to respectful and impactful storytelling.
