Miguel Dobrich

Founder, Editor-in-Chief, Amenaza Roboto

Miguel Dobrich is a journalist, educator and digital entrepreneur based in Montevideo. He is the CEO of Dobcast, a network of podcasts for the Spanish-speaking world, and the founder and Editor-in-chief of Amenaza Roboto, a science and technology news website that runs the sole data and climate journalism vertical in Uruguay.

Dobrich is a 2023 Pulitzer Center Grantee, 2023 Sigma Awards winner, and 2023 Global Partnership for Sustainable Development Data-World Bank Data Visualization Contest winner.

He is an alumnus of the Oxford Climate Journalism Network, a 2018 Tow-Knight Fellow, and a member of the Society of Environmental Journalists.
