Louis Jacobson

Senior correspondent at PolitiFact

Louis Jacobson is the senior correspondent with PolitiFact, a U.S.-based media organization that fact-checks statements in politics and misinformation in social media. He has been with PolitiFact since 2009. Previously, he was a journalist with Roll Call and National Journal in Washington, D.C. He is also senior author of biennial reference book The Almanac of American Politics. In his role with PolitiFact, he serves as a visiting professor at both West Virginia University and St. Bonaventure University teaching college journalism students how to produce PolitiFact articles.
