Kyuwon Lee

Training & Curriculum Manager, Solutions Journalism Network

Kyuwon Lee is SJN’s Training & Curriculum Manager: He leads the organization’s Train-the-Trainers program and stewards the communities of solutions journalism trainers worldwide. With his current role, Kyuwon has worked with hundreds of journalists and journalism trainers in over 70 different countries to reimagine the future of journalism practice.

He is a journalist from Seoul whose coverage includes issues of two Koreas, East Asia and transnational flows in between. His past projects ranged from anthropological study on Mexico's K-pop audience to documenting formerly incarcerated North Korean defectors. He is a former Air Force sergeant, a graduate of Yonsei University, and was a Fulbright Scholar at New York University.
