Iris Pase
Founding Editor, Pillow Talk Scotland
Iris Pase is an Italian journalist, sex educator, and the founding editor of Pillow Talk Scotland, a pioneering charity that fosters sex positive conversations through independent journalism and community events. Based in Glasgow, Iris created Pillow Talk to challenge stigma around sexual health and relationships, building a space where storytelling meets open dialogue.
Through the organisation, she also launched The Bold Type Fellowship, a free nine-month programme offering mentorship, paid writing opportunities, and workshops to support self-identifying women in Scotland who have faced financial barriers, helping create a more inclusive media landscape.
She also serves as Social Media and Production Lead at The Ferret, Scotland’s cooperative investigative outlet, driving audience engagement. As a freelance journalist, Iris has reported a variety of outlets, including The Independent, Metro UK, Positive News Magazine, and BBC The Social.
