Gwen Jones
Archival Researcher & Curator, International Press Institute (IPI)
Gwen Jones is an archival researcher, editor and curator. With an academic background in modern Central and Eastern European history (PhD, University of London 2006, Post-Doc, UCL Hebrew and Jewish Studies 2010), she has worked as an archivist for the Hungarian Holocaust Photo Archive, and web editor for Blinken OSA Archivum in Budapest, where she also held a Visegrad Research Fellowship in 2023.
She has also curated a number of in-person and digital exhibitions, and translates from Hungarian and German into English.
She’s currently working as a consultant for the IPI Archive Project and curating an in-person and digital exhibition based on IPI’s archival holdings, which will be launched in October during the IPI Anniversary World Congress and Media Innovation Festival.
