Annie Zulu is an award-winning freelance investigative journalist from Lusaka, Zambia, dedicated to uncovering critical issues related to human rights, gender equality, and environmental justice. With over seven years of experience, her work has been featured in renowned media outlets such as The Continent, Makanday Center for Investigative Journalism, Africa Brief, Crown TV, African Women in Media (AWiM) news, News Diggers, and Zambia Daily Mail among others.
Her investigative reporting has earned her numerous prestigious awards and recognitions, including the Makanday Eminent Prize for Investigative Journalism, the Africa Safety Journalist of the Year Award, and the Media Institute of Southern Africa (MISA) Golden Television Journalism Award among others. Annie was also a finalist for the 2024 Save the Children Global Media Awards.
