Christina Vrahali

Sports Journalist, OPEN TV

Christina Vrahali began her journalism career in 2002, starting at the Hellenic Broadcasting Corporation (ERT), where she worked for two years. In 2003, as part of a state TV programme called Olympic Trophy, she toured the Mediterranean to promote the 2004 Athens Olympic Games. During the Olympics, she worked in the press office at the Panthessaliko Stadium in Volos, where the football matches were held.

From 2004 to 2017, she was part of the Sports Department at SKAI TV, where she presented sports news and broadcasts, and also worked for SKAI Radio, handling journalistic production, match broadcasts, show hosting, and writing and delivering sports bulletins.

For the past six years, she has been with the news and information department of OPEN TV, hosting the sports evening show Total Football and presenting the sports segment on the main news bulletin.

For seven consecutive seasons she also had a column on gazzetta.gr and presented the Euroleague show on sportal.gr last season. Additionally, she was a basketball player for 20 years.

She holds a degree from the Department of Physical Education and Science of the University of Athens, with a specialisation in football.
