Solomon is a non-profit based in Greece that produces journalism that serves the interest of the public.

Its objective is to hold power to account, support domestic investigative journalism, as well as facilitate collaboration among journalists at a cross-border level.

In recent years, Solomon has become an influential outlet, publishing investigations in Greek and English that are often discussion starters.

Attending the Μedia Village will be:

  • Galateia Iatraki, Illustrator, Designer at Solomon
IATRAKI

Galateia creates illustrations for Solomon's stories. She studied and worked in Thessaloniki, the Netherlands and Crete in the field of information technology and multimedia. She has attended photography and archival practices seminars. Through photography and collage, she explores topics about contemporary social issues. Galateia created all the visual work of Solomon's three nominations for the European Press Prize in 2024.


  • Stavros Malichudis, Editor-in-Chief of Solomon
MALICHUDIS

Stavros is the editor of Solomon, an independent investigative outlet in Greece that covers migration, corruption, climate and the environment, and food systems.


  • Danai Maragoudaki, Editor of Solomon
Maragoudaki

Danai is based in Athens and works for the investigative outlet Solomon. She started working as a journalist in 2015 and has worked for several Greek media outlets, such as Inside Story and Capital.gr. Her reporting focuses on transparency, finance and digital threats.


  • Iliana Papangeli, Managing Director of Solomon
PAPAGELI

Iliana is the managing director of Solomon, an award-winning non-profit investigative outlet based in Greece, specializing in migration, corruption, and climate issues. She works as a writer, editor, and reporter. She advocates for leadership that prioritizes care practices and mental health within newsrooms.


  • Corina Petridi, Journalist at Solomon
PETRIDI

Corina is a journalist and data editor at Solomon. She has worked with VICE Greece, Reporters United, and Balkan investigative network BIRN. She has studied Political Science. In 2019, she was awarded a scholarship for Columbia Journalism School's Lede Program on coding, data analysis, and visual storytelling. She has reported on migration, real estate, data privacy and gender.


  • Aristea Protonotariou, Administration and Operations Officer at Solomon
PROTONOTARIOU

Aristea is an Administration and Operations Officer at Solomon. Her studies are in Journalism and Information Science. She was trained in Multimedia Journalism as an SNF scholar in Columbia University, NY. She holds an MA in Risk Communication and Crisis Journalism. Aristea is the co-founder of the "Migratory Birds", the first newspaper in Greece made by and for refugee, migrant and Greek youth.
