iMedius
At the heart of the iMedius project lies a visionary approach, blending advanced digital analysis with the nuanced understanding of social sciences. Its ambition is to forge new pathways in understanding the dynamics of news dissemination and its profound impact on audiences across diverse media landscapes.
Attending the Μedia Village will be:
- Panagiotis Kosmas, Researcher, Electrical Engineer and Computer Scientist at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki
Panagiotis has studied Electrical Engineering and Computer Sciences at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, where he developed a strong passion for mathematics, technology, computers and programming. Currently, he works as a programmer for the iMedius project. Soon, he will be pursuing a PhD, furthering his commitment to advancing his expertise.
- Paris Xylogiannis, PhD Candidate, Research Assistant at the Information Technologies Institute (ITI) of the Centre for Research & Technology Hellas (CERTH)
Paris is a Research Assistant at the Information Technologies Institute (ITI) of the Centre for Research & Technology Hellas (CERTH). His research interests include Deep Learning and Artificial Intelligence, focusing on multimedia data processing. He is contributing to the nationally funded project iMedius, which aims to integrate multidisciplinary media impact assessment instruments, and is currently pursuing a PhD in intelligent multimedia data management systems at the School of Journalism and Mass Communications, AUTh.
