Special Highlights: UNCOVERED Conference and European Press Prize Community Event
A notable addition is The UNCOVERED Conference 2024, Europe's largest cross-border investigative journalism event. Organized by the European Centre for Press and Media Freedom (ECPMF) in collaboration with the International Press Institute (IPI), European Journalism Centre (EJC), and Arena for Journalism in Europe, and funded by the European Commission, this conference highlights top investigative journalism and addresses the challenges of exposing cross-border crime and corruption.
For the first time, the UNCOVERED Conference will be held in the framework of the iMEdD International Journalism Forum, taking place on September 25 and 26, and will include a series of important discussions and the ceremony of the IJ4EU Impact Award.
Registration for the first day of UNCOVERED will open in July and will be separate.
Registering for the Forum grants you access to the second day of the UNCOVERED Conference.
Additionally, the European Press Prize Community Event will also take place during the Forum. Often described as the “Oscars” of European journalism, this event celebrates excellence in European journalism and provides an opportunity for networking among top journalists and editors.
Media Village: Showcasing Independent Media
As in previous year, the Media Village will once again be a central feature, providing national and international independent media outlets and organizations with a dedicated space to showcase their work and vision.
