#iMEdDIJF23 - A lineup of 60+ sessions and 100+ renowned speakers revealed

With less than a month to go, the eagerly anticipated iMEdD International Journalism Forum 2023 is just around the corner, scheduled to unfold from September 28th to September 30th at the Piraeus 260 venue. Over 100 esteemed journalism experts are gearing up to engage with the audience, fostering the exchange of knowledge, experiences, concerns, and solutions across a spectrum of panels, workshops, and keynote speeches.

Reporting on the climate crisis, migration, corruption, and war, assessing press freedom across the globe, exploring the opportunities and challenges presented by artificial intelligence and data journalism, and examining media independence through modern partnership models and innovative sustainability schemes are just a few of the topics that will be discussed, reflecting the collective expectations of both the audience and speakers for a healthy and ethical media environment.

Attendees of the Forum will have the unique opportunity to familiarize themselves with esteemed organizations like the Committee to Protect Journalists (CPJ), European Data Journalism Network (EDJNet), European Press Prize, Global Investigative Journalism Network (GIJN), Mediterranean Institute for Investigative Reporting (MIIR), Organized Crime and Corruption Reporting Project (OCCRP), Solomon, and World Press Photo (WPP) within the dedicated space of the Media Village.

The program is enriched with documentary screenings, photography exhibitions, the innovative "Live Journalism" format, and the return of the European Press Prize Community Event 2023, held within the Forum's framework once again this year.

Please note that on Wednesday, September 27th, at 19:00, one day before the official start of the Forum, the Stavros Niarchos Foundation's (SNF) Dialogues will assemble to explore the intriguing topic of "Spectators or Citizens?"
